It's Perhentian for 2010!

I thought I would stop writing. But this just had to be posted here. Hehe. This year, last weekend to be specific, my friends and I (8 of us) went for a beach vacation again! It was Perhentian this time around. Sangat best I'm telling uu!! Kiterg pergi for 3 days 2 nights. Kiterg naik bas from Shah Alam to Kuala Besut. Tiket bas is RM 43.00 per way. The journey took around 10 hours to reach Kuala Besut. Lama gila kan? Pakcik driver tu amatlah berhemah and amatlah suka berhenti. Naik bas pukul 8.30pm, sampai dalam pukul 6.00am. Then kiterg pegi surau nearby the bus station to smyg and basuh2 muka. Bila dah terang sikit, we walked to the jetty and had our breakfast dkt satu kedai makan ni. Taktau la nama apa. Tapi nasik lemak dia amat superb sekali!

Lepas makan, pegi office travel agent and buat segala urusan yg sepatutnya. Btw, agent yg bwk kiterg is Perhentian Sunny Travel. Recommended for those yg nak pergi dgn small budget. Cos, on the first day, I was quite not comfortable yg abe bok yg bwk kiterg tu (abg boat dalam loghat kelantan) tak cukup life jacket utk kiterg berlapan. Nasib baik tiga jejaka tu sume pandai berenang. boleh lah share2 life jacket tu bila semput.

Anyway, we stayed at a new chalet called B'First chalet at Teluk Dalam, Perhentian Besar. Ok. Sebenarnya the initial plan was to stay at Abdul Chalet, which is also at Perhentian Besar. Sadly, despite of great reviews and comments in Trip Advisor, Abdul Chalet has failed to honor the booking that we have made with them last minute. Apa perasaan korg semua kalau malam ni nak pegi naik bas dah, ptg ni travel agent tu call and ckp tak dpt bilik dkt Abdul Chalet tu. Apparently ada mat salleh yg taknak check out from one of supposed to be our rooms, jadi bilik kiterg tak cukup. Biasa lah org kita ni, priority nya mesti mat salleh kan. Sorry Abdul Chalet, reputasi awak dah tercemar di mata kami.

Whatever it is, B'First Chalet wasn't that bad. Ok. Not that perfect I would say. But decent enough. Dia belum siap renovate. Takde plag kt dalam bilik. Tapi toilet dia bersih. Bilik pun bersih. We had three beds in each of our room. Tapi dkt kawasan luar bilik tu tak berapa bersih, as mentioned dia belum siap renovate. So understandable lah. The best part of B'First Chalet is the great food that they serve. Order lah apa pun. semua sedap!

On the first day, in the morning since kiterg sampai awl kan, we didn't do much. Main2 air and main2 pasir jer. Sbb 1st snorkelling trip pukul 2.30pm. So kiterg bercanda di tepi pantai saje lah. Dalam pada bercanda tu sempat jugak la hilang kunci bilik chalet. haha. dua kunci pulak tu yg hilang. Nasib baik pakcik chalet tu baik. Dia tak marah, tapi agak pasrah. ahah. Weather and surrounding on the first day sangat cantik! Air pun super jernih!

Lepas habis main2, lunch dkt B'First, kiterg pun pergi snorkel. Tak ingat sangat lah mana abe bok tu bawak kiterg sebenarnya. haha. tapi snorkelling amat memenatkan.

Balik dari snorkel, mandi2 and bersiap utk dinner. We had our dinner at Flora bay resort. I would like to say makanan kat situ tak sedap dan mahal! If dkt B'first we would be paying RM 72 - RM 75 for 8 of us. Tapi kt situ kena dlm RM 100+. Dah lah tak sedap. Lepas makan, balik tido.

Second day, lepas snorkelling, we were brought to Windmill kt atas bukit. Kena naik tangga tinggi amat. Penat sungguh bila sampai kt atas tu. Lepas tu pegi Long Beach. Sayang nya second day tak bawak camera. Long Beach sangat cantik sebenarnya. Pantai dia macam swimming pool yg besar. Very pretty. And abe bok tinggal kan kiterg dkt long beach tu sekejap sbb dia nak balik kg dia nak isi minyak boat. sangat malang sbb kiterg tak bawak apa2 pun kecuali effi. dia ada bwk RM 10. Dapat lah beli roti jagung gardenia, biskut gula tiger, beberapa biji choclaire, biskut ape tah lagi satu tu. ahaha. Balik tu, kiterg lunch dkt Flora lagi. sebenarnya tersilap. Sbb kiterg confuse. Tempat tu tempat yg lain dari the one that we went the night before. Tapi it was run by Flora jugak. Tak sedap! and mahal! Ptg tu we went kayakking. Oh sangat best. I'm actually very scared of bumpy boat ride and the sea itself. Tapi kayak sangat bestt! Charge utk kayak is RM 15 per hour per kayak. Lepas kayak, bercanda di tepi pantai sambil2 cari nemo.

Nemo. hihi. Tak payah susah2 snorkel nak tgk Nemo. Kt pantai Teluk Dalam tu pun boleh tgk bila air surut. ;p

Dinner utk second day ni, we chose Samudra. I ordered mac n cheese. See below what I've got.

Tapi sedap jer pun. No complains. :))

Third day, we were hoping to see the sun rise. Sbb menurut kata abe bok, kiterg bley tgk matahari terbit from pantai. bsemangat la kiterg bangun pagi nak tgk kan...

Pagi2 ni tak buat apa2 sangat.. Lepak je tepi pantai n main pasir..

Lepas tu pegi kayak2 lagi.. masa ni kayak lama gila.. from one end to the other end of teluk tu. jauh gila. bangga dgn diri sendiri. ahaha. tapi penat. siap terlebih satu jam and kena byr extra dkt org kayak tu. besttt. tapi ada berita sedih. balik je dari kayak, hp and cameraku dimasuki air.. :'(( dua2 sampai hari ni rosak. hp dah hanta kedai. camera taktau lah nak buat apa.. bila tanya org kedai camera, dia cakap if masuk air, charge nak repair, macam beli baru. jer.. tskkkkk. nasib baik memory card tak rosak. maka ada lah gambar2 ni sume.. haish.

Basically, the above is the summary of our vacation. Can't wait for the next one! :))

p/s: overall costs and expenses for 8 pax are as below:

>> 3D2N package - RM 1700
>> Bus ticket (Shah Alam - Kuala Besut) - RM 43/way, RM 688 in total
>> Food and activities during the trip - approximately RM 1,000

Total expense per person is approximately RM 450.

yet another kenduri. haha. inilah aktiviti2 cuti sekolah. setiap minggu pegi kenduri. last week serting. yg post yg ni pulak, abg tamziz kawin. takde kena mengena langsung kan? abg kwn yg kawin pn sebok nk pegi. hahaha. tak kesahlah. dah org ajak, kita pegi jer lah kan. next weekend, sepupu pulak nk tunang. there will be a post bout that one too. hahah.

anyway, kenduri abg tamziz nih di gombak. this is the furthest destination so far that i drove my-not-at-all-new manual car utk pegi. kagum takk? masa pegi gila terer tak mati enjin langsung. tapi masa balik malangnya, federal highway tuh jam lah pulak.. so adelah tiga kali mati enjin. ahaha. yg penting skali, tak mcm kuda tau! smooth driving jerr. chewah. hahah. n lebih kagum sbb smp rumah tamziz tanpa sesat2 jalan. gombak tu.. jangan main-main. :D

back from the kenduri, lepas hanta mock, dzue and i went to sunway pyramid. jalan-jalan and makan-makan. makan byk gila. mula-mula kiterg makan takoyaki. then, donat jco. pastuh gi makan steamboat! hehh. mmg perut rase nk meletup. rase jer lah kan. balik tuh penat gile dan ngantuk. penat sbb sakit kaki wk manual sepjg hari. ngantuk sbb makan byk sgt.

speaking of makan byk. hari tuh pegi buat medical check up untuk nak kerja nih kann. berat naik gila banyakkk. takkan di disclose di sini. huuuu. baru cuti tiga minggu kottt. hish.

tapi, kalau fikir2 balik pattern makan, tgklah pegi pyramid brape jenis makanan yg dimakan kan.. tuh pn dlm mase 4 hours! mmg padanlah punn.. hahahah. :D

Kenduri.

hari ni pegi serting. (OMG. bandar bahau dah ada cineplex okayy. eh, dah ada ke akan ada eh? samalah tu.) anyway, pegi serting for mira's wedding. mira dh kawinn. percaya tak? after 5 yrs meninggalkan mrsm tuh.. kawan pertama yg kawin. note that tora pun nk tunang this june. hish. pressure tak? tak. haha.

mereka yg ada tadi: dila, mock, munee, ana (IB), pi'e, kama, niza, mushana, fairuz, dayat, cik nini, mar, izza kecik, waheeda, hani, norm, amin joker. (i really hope i didnt miss anyone.)

Ke Bintang!

heeee. Semalam habis exam! sekarang kami semua sudah officially menganggur selama
1 hari 5 jam 11 minit. :D :D dah habis belajarr. tak payah tanya lah how was the paper kan. mmg gila merepek (siapa yg beli ikan online?? org yg amik exam maf smlm jer tau. haha). yg penting ialah, apa yg kiterg buat lepas tuhh. i'm using sehah's laptop. so sgt bersemangat utk mengupload gambarr! :))

DSB w ita. ahah. takkan exam kt situ dh. (hopefully)

anyway, selepas exam we went to pyramid. safwan was our official driver for yesterday since fana refused to pegi awal for ice skating. safwan's driving was terrible. haha. tapi takpe. kami selamat sampai ke pyramid dan selamat pulang juga. di pyramid, kami bermula dgn aktiviti ice-skating. bestt. :) mula2, agak cuak. first time kata.. mst ar cuak kan. tp lama2 mcm bes. tak pyh pegang tepi punn.. (dgn nada berlagak. haha) agak sama dgn pakai roller blade. tapi lagi licin kot. mula2 budget nk eksyen tak jatuh pn. haha. tp yan telah menyebabkan kejatuhan lalu menyebabkan kelenjunan seluar yg hebat. haish.

after bowling, we had dinner at the italiannies. i'm gonna exhibit the food we had there.

well, mine pn dh habis n waiter tu dh angkat pn pinggannye. ahaha. then sedang kami makan2, tetibe we saw sumthing peculiar dlm piring dkt dgn safwan.



nampak tak the sugar tuh fridays punya? ahaha. then we asked the waiter, Gerrard about it. dgn kerek nye die menceritakan tgif dan italiannies sort of bergabung and ada bar dkt luar italiannies tu actually owned by both tgif and italiannies. die tak gelak pun. cheh. kerek.

anyway, we had fun the whole day. the dinner at italiannies tuh mcm sgt warm and happy. here's a pic of all of us.

Thaipusam. :D

pada 23 Januari yg lalu, (hari Thaipusam) i went to tasik titiwangsa! naik roda ferris tuhh. haha. eye on Malaysia. I shudve included this in my list of kemahuan in my previous post. but anyway, mmg nak naik pun benda tuh. lupa nak taruk jerr. not only pegi naik EOM tu. they even made me go visit Balai Seni Negara. hoi tak larat lah kan. tgk2 lukisan. boring jer. ahaha.

it was undeniably one of my happiest days. berjumpa fav org2. pakcik fariq yg sudah mahu memulakan kerjaya sebagai kelasi (haha), all the best! qalai and codain with their SLRs. sangat cool ok. semua gambar2 codain turned out amat menarik. mayb mmg sebab camera lah kot. hehe. havent seen qalai's output tho. tapi mesti menarik jugakk. dila, who is in pursue of winning norman KRU's heart (gile ar klu ni kuar kt melodi. gossip hangatt. ahahaha). munee yg sedang menghabiskan sisa2 percutian, n mock yg masih lagi classmate ku dari form 4 sampai lah skrg. :)

walaupun tak dapat picnic dan berkayak, hari itu tetap seronok.
going anywhere with great companions surely promises great times. :)
